Compliance Business Associate Agreement
Request a Business Associate Agreement
When MyWellnessID handles protected health information on behalf of your firm, HIPAA treats us as a Business Associate. A BAA puts that relationship in writing. It is available to law firms at no charge.

What the BAA covers
The MyWellnessID Business Associate Agreement sets out, consistent with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules:
- The permitted uses and disclosures of protected health information (PHI).
- The administrative, physical, and technical safeguards we apply to PHI.
- Breach notification obligations and timelines.
- Flow-down requirements for subcontractors and subprocessors that handle PHI.
- Return or destruction of PHI at the end of the engagement.
How the process works
- Submit the form tell us your firm and where to send the agreement.
- We send the BAA our compliance team emails your firm the agreement for review.
- Sign and return once countersigned, the BAA is on file and your firm can exchange PHI through the platform.
